Ray E Young of Maine became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, CE: CORPS OF ENGINEERS, Ray was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Dispatch Camp (Tokyo POW 3 - Kawasaki) Tokyo Bay Area 35-139. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Ray was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source.
