Prisoner of War Ribbon

Alva K Wright of Iowa became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, CE: CORPS OF ENGINEERS, Alva was captured by GERMANY and was imprisoned at Stalag 3B Furstenberg Brandenburg, Prussia (Also KDOS [USA] 1-5; ARB BTNS 225-255) 52-14. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Alva was in 109 Battalion/Training Battalion Combat/Special Troops Engineer (Combat, Infantry Triangular - Motorized North African Theatre: Tunisia. Source. US National Archives.
