Serving in the U.S. Army, Detached Enlisted Men's List, DML: DETACHED ENLISTED MEN'S LIST, Herbert was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Tokyo POW Camp Branch 2 (Kawasaki) Tokyo Bay Area 35-139.
