George J Schenck of Oregon became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Air Corps, AC: AIR CORPS, George was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Omori Headquarters Camp (Ofuna) Tokyo 35-139. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows George was in 371 Squadron/Government Heavy Bomber Asiatic Theatre: Japan. Source.
