Serving in the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, CE: CORPS OF ENGINEERS, Chesley was captured by GERMANY and was imprisoned at Oflag 64 or 21B Schubin (Moved to Usedom) Poland, Altburgund 53-17. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated.
