Michael Putas of Pennsylvania became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, CE: CORPS OF ENGINEERS, Michael was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Tokyo Sectional Camp 3 - Hiraoka, Nagano Tokyo Bay Area 35-139. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Michael was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source.
