Powell L Magee of Mississippi became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Ordnance Department, ORD: ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT, Powell was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Tokyo POW Camp (Shinjuku) Tokyo Bay Area 35-140. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Powell was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source.
