Monte B Maas of New York became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Infantry, INF: INFANTRY, Monte was captured by GERMANY and was imprisoned at Stalag 4D Torgau (Elbe) Sachsen, Prussia 51-13. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Monte was in 116 Group/Regiment/Commands/System Branch Immaterial/Infantry Division Band/Dental Co European Theatre: Germany. Source. US National Archives.
