Sammy C Jackson of Texas became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the USMC, United States Marine Corps, MAR: UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, Sammy was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Omori Headquarters Camp (Ofuna) Tokyo 35-139. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Sammy was in Pacific Theatre_Guam: Wake Island. Source. US National Archives.
