Harry J Haas JR of Ohio became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Medical Department, MD: MEDICAL DEPARTMENT or ANC: ARMY NURSE CORPS, Harry was captured by GERMANY and was imprisoned at Stalag 2B Hammerstein (99 work camps in vicinity of Koslin - Stolp) West Prussia 53-17. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Harry was in 109 Battalion/Training Battalion Combat/Special Troops Medical Corps (Includes regiments and battalions) European Theatre: Germany. Source. US National Archives.
