Travis W Flowers of North Carolina became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, CE: CORPS OF ENGINEERS, Travis was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at PW Camp 4 - O'Donnel Tarlac Luzon Philippines 15-120. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Travis was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source.
