Floyd W Cooney of Indiana became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Coast Artillery Corps, CAC: COAST ARTILLERY CORPS or AMP: ARMY MINE PLANT, Floyd was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at PW Camp 1 - Cabanatuan 1-2-3 Nueva Province Luzon Philippines 15-121. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Floyd was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source.
