Robert Compton

Prisoner of War Ribbon

Robert J Compton of New Mexico became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Coast Artillery Corps, CAC: COAST ARTILLERY CORPS or AMP: ARMY MINE PLANT, Robert was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Tokyo POW Camp (Shinjuku) Tokyo Bay Area 35-140. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated.
