Tony P Chavez of New Mexico became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Medical Department, MD: MEDICAL DEPARTMENT or ANC: ARMY NURSE CORPS, Tony was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at PW Camp 1 - Cabanatuan 1-2-3 Nueva Province Luzon Philippines 15-121. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated.
