William Chaney

Prisoner of War Ribbon

William M Chaney of South Carolina became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Ordnance Department, ORD: ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT, William was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Osaka Main Camp Chikko Osaka 34-135. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated.
