
William J Black of California became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Ordnance Department, ORD: ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT, William was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Zentsuji POW Camp (Hiroshima 1) Shikoku Island 34-133. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows William was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source.
