Hix C Ashworth of Tennessee became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Field Artillery, FA: FIELD ARTILLERY, Hix was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Thai (TAI) POW Camp Thailand 13-100. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Hix was in Asiatic Theatre. Source. US National Archives.
