Maden F Anderson of Virginia became a Prisoner of War during World War II.

Serving in the U.S. Army, Field Artillery, FA: FIELD ARTILLERY, Maden was captured by GERMANY and was imprisoned at Stalag 2B Hammerstein (99 work camps in vicinity of Koslin - Stolp) West Prussia 53-17. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Maden was in 601 Battalion/Training Battalion Combat/Special Troops Tank Destroyer North African Theatre: Tunisia. Source. US National Archives.
