Are you an educator or administrator looking for field trip ideas for your elementary, middle or high school in the North Texas Area?
Strapped by budgets, time and TEK restraints? Give the children a memorable learning experience by considering us.
The Sons of Liberty Museum offers a new, innovative cost effective ‘field trip’ that promotes patriotism, American history, leadership, the value of education including continuing and advanced and even a tie-in to STEM topics and applied fields.
We offer a different kind of field trip, We come to your school. This is a 28-foot mobile museum and we spend the full day at your location. There are no busses needed, no chaperons and a minimal loss of class time. We can accommodate approximately 750 students per day. Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, Public and Private. Academies and other learning facilities can enjoy our program.
If you have 750 students the cost for this program would work out to about $2 per student! a fantastic value.
Children get up close viewing of artifacts of many citizen soldiers. We offer QR codes that link to additional information on our websites containing biographies and other material.
Through our educator portal, teachers can access material and ideas for STEM topics that relate to the experiences of a number of the people found in the exhibit. For example, how do big ships float, how do planes fly, how to build a cypher and much more.
All educators are welcome to signup for the portal, we also welcome contributions to information and programs.
