Enjoy this history of the bomb groups of the 304th Bomb Wing in World War II with this discovered archival film footage. The bombardment groups of the 304th BW began arriving in Italy in January of 1944. They would remain there until V-E day in 1945.
Identified B-24 aircraft are seen on the ground and in the air at their bases at San Giovanni, Stornara and Giulia Airfield and the viewer gets a unique look and visual record of the 454th, 455th, 456th and 459th Bombardment Groups of the 304th Bomb Wing in action during World War II.
These are not documentary wwii movies, they are not hollywood produced films but the raw original footage taken by the photographers of the Army Air Forces Combat Camera Units.
